A new self-service functionality has been made available by the GSTN for situations where the bill of entry related details are not auto-populated in GSTR-2A within 2 days after the reference date on GST Portal from ICEGATE. The reference date for the above purpose implies either of the following dates, whichever is later:
1) Out of charge date
2) Duty payment date
3) Amendment date
Procedure to be followed under this functionality:
1. Login
2. Services > User Services > Search BOE
3. Provide Port code/ BE no. / BE date/ reference date and select “search” Option.
4. If the details do not appear, query can be raised using “QUERY ICEGATE” option and status of query is displayed within 30min.
The information displayed using this functionality includes:

GSTN advisory in respect of the above functionality was released on 17.09.2021 so as to provide relief to importer of goods.
